Advice to Management
It is great to see the efforts by the SRC Management team in terms of developing their people. In my personal experience I feel really valued as a member of staff and my previous role within the SRC supported me into a successful appointment into another department. When I joined I had never worked within an office let alone a Financial Services company and the level of support that I received initially was second to none.
The recognition you receive is a great morale boost and it genuinely makes you feel that all of your efforts are recognised by your peers and management team.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wesleyan (Birmingham, England) in June 2013.
Complicated, many competency based questions but doesn't put you in a place to highlight your own view on why you are good for the job. Very difficult to prepare for. Small interview rooms made you feel really enclosed.
Yesterday saw Jonathan Phelan from Evenhood share his incredibly moving, honest and life-changing story with dozens of our staff as part of International Men's Day. We're working hard to end the stigma around ill mental health and support those who face mental health challenges in the workplace.
We're delighted to be sponsoring the 'Excellence in Mental Health Care' category of the #NHS70 Parliamentary Awards this week. We're proud to support such a trusted and incredible team of professionals.
