InterviewApplied online and was contacted by a recruiter to complete the first stage interview. The interview consisted of a test and competency questions which were asked by two members of the team. The interview itself was fine. However, it took at least two weeks for the recruiter to call me and tell me I had been unsuccessful. The feedback I was given was not helpful at all. I was told another candidate "ticked one or two more boxes". I was not given any feedback in terms of how well I did in the test or how I answered the interview question. The feedback was very generic and didn't include anything about my individual performance. I think Wickes needs to improve their recruitment process and offer candidates more personalised feedback so they can improve.
