Technical Account Manager
Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

ProsAll the staff are very friendly and there’s an emphasise on well-being. There’s lots of opportunity for personal development and the work is never dull as the company is growing.
ConsNo cons at the moment
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Xceptor (New York, NY)
InterviewAn external recruiter reached out to me regarding the role. We had a very brief conversation and she said that she would like to share my profile with the team. Shortly after, she reached out to let me know that the team was interested in meeting with me, so she asked me for a more formal resume. Upon sending my resume, I never heard back- no interview, no feedback, nothing.
