Company Updates

  • Once a quarter, we treat the colleagues of our Corporate Head Office, in Reading, to pizza, and the opportunity to learn about what is going on elsewhere in the business - we have a different presenter every quarter. This incentive started as a result of feedback that our Corporate colleagues felt out of the loop. It has been a huge success and everyone feels a lot more informed. The pizza's are well received too!

  • Our Senior Leadership continues to grow, and we are delighted to welcome Dr. Barbara Zesik, Chief People Officer and Mike Ainslie, Chief Finance Officer to the business. They both bring key leadership skills and experience ensuring we are now fully equipped to deliver our strategy and continued improvements to our customer experience. These new appointments, along with Debra Goodwin, who joined in January as our new Chief Customer Service Officer, show a more diverse and balanced Senior Leadership Team and we are all very much looking forward to working with them!

Telesales

Working in Telesales, you will be based in our Belfast or Birmingham offices, acquiring new customers, making appointments for our field based Account Managers and helping existing customers make the most of their chosen marketing solutions.

As a valued part of our telesales team, you'll be offered a competitive salary package, an energetic and fast paced working environment, and some excellent opportunities for you to progress. Starting with an 8 week induction programme, we’ll equip you with the skills and knowledge to build a rewarding career in sales at Yell.

Field Sales

As a Digital Account Manager or BDM you'll represent our company in face-to-face meetings with customers. Working in a defined local territory, you will have the opportunity to manage your own portfolio and generate valuable business from existing leads and accounts.

    Pros

    I'm new to Yell but already I can see a work place of like minded individuals who are passionate, focused and assertive. The hours are fantastic along with early finishes on Friday. The management actually care about the development of the employees and will help coach you toward success.

    Cons

    There is no real downsides! If you have the right mindset and come in to work hard, you will see the results.

    Well structured assessment day with a numerous different types of tasks and activities. Pretty challenging and consisted of many skills coming in to play in order to be successful. Consisted of a presentation, role play and a one to one interview. Challenging tasks during the day that require thinking.
