Company Updates

Over the past year, a lot has changed here at YOOBIC. We’ve opened offices in New York and São Paulo, and our team has doubled in size.

With that in mind, we decided to take some time to think about what we stand for as a company.

After a lot of self-reflection, we came up with 5 core values that we think best encapsulate our identity.

Check out the blog post below to find out what YOOBIC’s core values are, and the actions we’re taking to incorporate those values into our work every day.

YOOBIC's Core Values: Everything You Need to Know

Things have changed a lot here at YOOBIC over the past year or so. We've had a total branding revamp (look how pretty our website is!), we've opened offices in New York and São Paulo, and our team has doubled in size.

Yoobic – Why Work With Us?

YOOBIC was founded by 3 brothers, Fabrice, Avi and Gilles Haïat. They have been working together for more than 15 years. Before YOOBIC, the brothers co-founded Vizelia, a pioneering energy monitoring solution that they sold to Schneider Electric in 2011.

Here at YOOBIC, we think it’s important to examine what shapes our company culture. That's why we incorporate these 5 core values, and the behaviours that drive them, into everything we do:

People Growth = Company Growth

- Constant commitment to learning - Taking ownership of our work and ideas - Being passionate about what we do

Obsessed with Innovation

- Encouraging creative thinking - Having the agility to adapt to new challenges - Paying attention to detail

Strength from Diversity

- Creating an inclusive environment - Showing empathy - Trusting each other

No Ego

- Transparency in our operations - Flexibility - Working as a team - Listening more than we talk

No Pain, No Gain

- Showing grit - Consistency in all we do - Being positively competitive

What are we looking for?

At YOOBIC, we’re looking for people with problem-solving and perseverance capability in an ever-changing and growing environment. We look for individuals that are proactive and willing to take ownership and responsibility.

We want our teammates to strive for excellence, take pride in the work they do and to be passionate about making our team and our clients as successful as possible.

Finally, we look for people who have the ability to receive and give constructive feedback as well as an aptitude to learn from others, putting ego aside.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in London, England
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Yoobic (London, England) in November 2018.

To sum up, relieved to not have joined Yoobic. Seemed a very good company and opportunity to be part of the company throughout the interview process..then came the final stage meeting with the CEO. Quite possibly one of the most unpleasant meetings I've ever had! Appreciate he's the CEO and very busy but came across extremely rude and so direct it was offensive. At one point he asked me to pause whilst answering a question he asked me, to check his phone. I'd already decided I couldn't work for the company before the meeting had finished. The highlight had to be; when asked what questions I had, I began asking and before I could finish my sentence, he then began to answer with a question. Company seems to be doing well but delighted to not be part of it...and that's simply down to meeting with the CEO.
