The people you work with are great, and the organisation is keen to change/progress.
Operations and higher management don't really seem to know what is going on. Lot's of contractors from fields other than finance completing change implementation with little knowledge of effect on frontline staff/customers. Results in misscommunication, demotivated staff. Also very poor salary compared to competitors. Difficult to progress as when internal roles arrived people were already placed there. Interviews were a formality.
Advice to Management
Pay better, remember happy staff are as important as happy customers. It will be difficult to have one without the other.
I applied online. I interviewed at Yorkshire Building Society (Bradford, Yorkshire and the Humber, England) in June 2017.
1 stage face to face with the Team Lead and Manager. Included a 1 hour technical test, followed by a 1 hour interview with both people. The test was lengthy and indepth.
