Does there seem to be diversity at Zulily?

...Diversity and inclusion program seems to really be more of a PR play than anything, people are asked to film marketing videos to say how great it is here instead of asked how to improve the circumstances of working here....Read More

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Zulily (United States) in Sep 2021

    Interview

Overall, a very long and frustrating process. Took over two months to get an offer, went through seven interviews with leaders at all three buildings, a little excessive for a lateral move. They kept me hanging after final interviews in early September all to tell me the old recruiter quit the company. Fast forward, another interview and then I’m finally granted the position. Stated my wants in a offer, a week later, they produce a low offer that was less than what I told the original recruiter. Company seems rather amateurish and obviously misleads people and wasted my time. I don’t recommend and would never work for them! I can see why they only promote internals, they settle for low salaries.

To help understand the Brain of the Planner, Zulily commissioned a first-of-its kind pilot study by third-party researcher ENGINE, which looked at moms to uncover their attitudes and emotions related to planning versus procrastinating. As part of this research, ENGINE used linguistic and facial coding to study the differences in language and emotions displayed by Planners and Procrastinators as they engaged in a series of storytelling tasks. This study found that moms experience lower stress and anxiety, more time for leisure and socializing, healthier relationships, and more stability through planning—and importantly, that these positive behaviors can be learned over time.
