Mission: To be the most respected post-PC consultancy in the world.
I have been working at hedgehog lab full-time (Less than a year)
It's been a long time since I have experienced the buzz that I get from working here. There are lots of challenges for a fast-growing business, especially in tech, but the sense of teamwork and togetherness among the teams at hedgehog lab is amazing. There are a log of very talented people here, and a strong sense that we're all on a mission together. For a young company with a youthful workforce, there is a rock-solid work ethic and a pervasive professional and ethical attitude, whipped up with a healthy portion of giggles :) I walk to the office quickly each morning, looking forward to the day ahead and seeing my colleagues. What else can I say?
Life can be unpredictable due to the steep growth trajectory. We're evolving as a business and if you don't like change and a high pace then it's not for you.
Advice to Management
Protect the ethos - it's our 'secret sauce' and why many of these talented people are here. At the same time, we need to sharpen up procedures so that they're fit for a company that is becoming a 'medium' rather than a 'small' business.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at hedgehog lab (Newcastle, England) in May 2015.
Was similar to how I expected it to be. Ray told me about the company, the way we work here, the culture here and then moved on to talking about myself and why I'm applying for the job and why hedgehog lab would benefit me becoming an addition to the family.
