I have been working at AAA Club Alliance full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

They have a decent building to work in. I had to think for several minutes to come up with that much.

    Cons

Management doesn't listen to workers. We have stepped back instead of moving forward. The benefits aren't very good. We get fewer holidays off than any company I have ever worked for. Morale is at an all time low and a lot of employees are either sad or angry. The past two years have seen a bad decline in a company I once liked working for. The department I work for has seen two thirds of staff leave for hope of a better situation. I am now looking to do the same.

    Advice to Management

I think it's too late because they don't listen.

I worked at AAA Club Alliance full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great 401k benefits. Free membership. Great co-workers. Tuition reimbursement. There really isn't much good to say about AAA club alliance anymore

    Cons

Staff is stretched thin. Decrease in pay and benefits after merger. Stop hiring Management that does not care about AAA and it's associates. Fleet operations is in shambles. Stop treating drivers like they are nothing. They actually risk there lives to service AAA MEMBERS. SO PAY THEM BETTER! Listen to your employees concerns.

    Advice to Management

Be proactive not reactive. AAA is becoming obsolete. Millennial will not pay for something they aren't using. Stop cutting benefits,we did not ask for the merger.

I have been working at AAA Club Alliance full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Years ago there were many Pros; not really much anymore.

    Cons

Under the current leadership (basically a CFO in CEO shoes) the company has morphed into doing everything it can to MAKE AS MUCH $$ AS POSSIBLE, with no regard to Members. There is absolutely no thought to making the customer's lives better, rather, we spend all our time figuring out ways to MAKE MORE $$ by charging more, raising fees, reducing expenses, etc. STAY AWAY...there is little to no promotions for the worker bees, but the big bosses continue to get promoted and advance their careers....everyone is looking to get out - just an awful place to work.

    Advice to Management

Stop thinking of yourselves and your BIG bonuses, and focus your efforts on creating value for your members.

I have been working at AAA Club Alliance part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Constant available overtime
    School reimbursement
    Free premier membership
    Friendly environment

very easy job to learn and the main applications are modern and easyto use

    Cons

    Constant high call volume
Agents basically fight to just make sure there isn't a long hold time for members
difficult metrics to excel especially if you wear more than one hat.
decent pay but be could be more. especially with growing responsibility

on top of dealing with anxious and stressed members the alliance club covers 11 states and 7 of the top 50 major cities, such as Philly, Baltimore, Indianapolis, D.C., Oklahoma city etc, so you'll be talking with members the whole day. slow days are rare.

    Advice to Management

Every desk needs two screens. some dont

constant update and list of phone numbers and networks for agents

strengthen GPS location. sometimes it's James bond accurate other times it's in the wrong state.

keep employees upbeat happy so they can make the members happy

    Cons

So many. They promise employees and members things they cant deliver.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your members. Why are they being charged more, and more each year? Kinda reminds me of the cable company....price goes up and up, and the service goes down.

I have been working at AAA Club Alliance full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pros this job pays very well they train you and it is for the most part a family company.

    Cons

Cons is you need to schedule PTO it first come first serve and there is shift bidding. So if your number are low there a good chance you may not get a shift at all if you don't apply for a lot.

    Advice to Management

make PTO open no matter what and open new call center to take some of load off the other workers.
