Pros

-Other assistants are very smart and passionate about entertainment. Presents the opportunity to create valuable professional relationships. -Gain access to a lot of hot scripts circulating the industry. Great way to stay informed about how the industry is moving internally.

Cons

-A handful of agents are extremely unkind towards assistants and each other. It's egregious how normalized the mistreatment is. It creates a very tense environment where everyone is on pins and needles scared to make mistakes. -Assistants are not fully trained and are given little structural support. -Pay is very low (unlivable salary in both NY and LA), yet you're required to have a bachelors degree. -Company isn't as well connected as other agencies.
