I have been working at AXA Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Very good pension benefits. - Good place for career in management. - Based on the location where I worked, the pay is reasonably fine. - Flexible working hours.

    Cons

    - Extreme bureaucracy. - People who value high quality software development and adopt modern technologies, this is definitely not a place. - Working with their Managed Services (external contractor company) are very difficult, frustrating and stressful.

    Advice to Management

There are so many capable people who want to do more and make it better, but they are not able to do maybe not getting the opportunity or bureaucracy hindering them, managed services and internal team not really working, it requires a better streamlining. Engineers need ownership of products and services they are delivering. Empowering people in every areas of business perhaps, would be a great start.
