I have been working at Abbott full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

St Judes was awesome, wish they hadn’t been acquired, had over five years of experience in the job, great customers. Bonus scheme good.

    Cons

Want to leave before the end of the year. Management bully and harass employees, yet try to make out that we are a great company. Abbott wouldn’t furlough anyone, but sales now complain about their tight budget (go figure!) No commercial acumen and naive about our competition, also desperately trying to plug our product without awareness of competitions strategy

I worked at Abbott full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Good benefits package, good training

    Cons

St Jude felt like a family, everyone was friendly and helped each other out. Abbott brought in a competitive aura and atmosphere changed. HR dept is very unhelpful if you’re feeling pressure. No support. You’re expected to travel a lot with short notice and targets are very tough.

Regular communication takes place at all levels and information are cascaded from the board down the employees very frequently. Excellent benefits package including a highly competitive s package.
