Hands down, the people are an amazing group to work with. I expect to learn something new every day. Benefits are strong. Support during the pandemic has also been great and communication has been improving.

Owners are fully involved in the research and marketing; clear distribution of managing and research lab functions with good interaction; fair workload and good work/life balance; expertise of managers and scientists in DMPK pre-clinical studies ranging from animal dosing to PK data analysis particularly related to cell permeability stages. Good work culture and friendly people ready to help and teach beginners.Good place to start and learn for analytical chemist.

Low compensations for junior stuff (striving to keep competitive prices for clients) as compared to larger pharma/biotech companies results in significant turnover of technical stuff which can use their acquired skills somewhere else for larger money. Focus on proprietary approaches and analytical platforms, no thinking out of the box.

Small privately owned and managed CRO with special expertise in, but not limited to, drug transporters and testing facilities for comprehensive pre-clinical studies of small drug molecules. You can learn a lot from senior staff. Working/life balance is good, not overloaded. Flexible working options possible. Very good working relationships. If you satisfied with your position you can work forever.

Junior staff is underpaid and rotated quickly. Always new people under training. No real space to advance career goals. Benefits are below average.

Good place to learn the lab, account management, project management, etc. Scientists work minimum hours.

Company is run by the COO and management is very loose and operates subjectively. Structure, roles and decisions seem whimsical and change often. Business side works very demanding hours for low pay.
