    Pros

You can accept or turn down work with out feeling like your being punished. They worked hard at finding me a permanent position. Overall had a great experience working for them.

    Cons

Really don't have any. You make the job what you want.

I worked at Accountemps full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-if you receive an excellent review from your first placement then you'll have a lot of impute on the next one
-good place to gain first year of experience if you weren't recruited straight out of school
-take it for what it is

    Cons

    -low pay
    -no benefits
-get offered bad placements all the time (if you have very good reviews you can decline them and get another placement a few days or a week later, but if not then don't expect a call back).

I worked at Accountemps full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

None. I trust these people less than I do politicians.

    Cons

    - Inability to stick by their own deadlines (i.e. - they lie by giving you dates when they say they'll contact you but never end up doing it).
    - They sent me to an interview on the wrong day.
    - One receptionist there decided to argue with me because I requested the name of a supervisor there.
    - Bearing the three above-mentioned points in mind, they had the gall to accuse me of unprofessionalism because I decided to contact a place where I interviewed directly, since my representative (if you could call him that) decided to go on vacation and leave me in the lurch (not the first time he did that).

    Advice to Management

Get a grip on reality and realize that those who come to you seeking employment are a crucial portion of business model and your business would not exist without them.
Before you dare accuse anyone else of unprofessionalism, take a long look in the mirror.

I worked at Accountemps full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very professional service. Great way for new accountants to build their resume and start networking. As an SPS Consultant, you are paid even during the downtime in between contracts, which motivates Accountemps to find you new opportunities more quickly. Also you receive the appropriate benefits that come with a full-time position.

    Cons

Generally, they expect an employee to work as an SPS Consultant for about 2 years before you start looking to get hired full-time at the companies you contract with. A firm wanted to hire me while I was 5 months in, which resulted in a lot of pushback from Robert Half. Eventually, the firm was able to come to an agreement with Robert Half to steal me away. Expect some tension if you find yourself in a similar situation.

I have been working at Accountemps full-time

    Pros

Supportive, enthusiastic professionals with positive approaches to placing applicants in appropriate positions. Willing to work diligently to support applicant needs.

    Cons

I really do not have any cons. They have been a wonderful resource for me and I will continue to use them.
