Pros
Managed to place me in a role that was along the right kind of line for me
Cons
The agents aren't very enthusiastic about getting you a job that you really want or would be perfect for you. As long as the role is slightly related to what you've done previously and the employer is happy they're not fussed!

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Acorn Recruitment full-time for more than a year
Pros
Some people were nice. Some managers weren't horrible. Perm CRM was decent. They care about compliance at head office.
Cons
A certain type of person 'fits in' and they'll hire that person again and again. Basically yes people who aren't deep thinkers. If you don't fit that persona you'll feel detached and lonely before long. Rumours of their 'academy training program' are greatly exaggerated. It's just a way to sell and manage the constant churn of rookies. Penny pinching, dated ideas that they'll solve problems of shrinking margins, the decline of industry in the UK, Brexit and the automation of low level roles which have been their bread and butter historically by outsourcing recruiter jobs to countries that don't pay real salaries. It's quite sad to see, really. Basically, not keen.
