Just about everything else. Incredibly out of touch senior management, or maybe they just don't really give a damn about their field level employees. Extremely poor pay, especially considering the expectations and results expected. Those 16 year old kids you see in sloppy clothes working at Target make more money than the RSM from Advantage that is tasked with selling new products, getting shelf space, insuring displays are correct and maintained and representing multiple clients. Apparently getting shopping carts out of the parking lot is a more valuable activity. Who knew? If you want your front line employees to be productive, and to represent your clients and achieve the results that you claim Advantage produces, then quit abusing those employees! That's all that the company is doing. Low pay, no raises, embarrassingly low mileage reimbursement rates (approx .20 below current federal standard). Bonus amounts that are laughable. Is it worth it to spend 20 minutes or more on a display that may pay $5.00 dollars? Or getting a secondary location for a product that pays $1.00? (But hey! Do 10 of those a month and you get $10.00! What would you do with all that money?!?) Your RSM's are not sales people. You don't train them to do sales, you don't give them adequate information to make sales, and you can't expect them to touch 400 or 500 items during a store visit and meet with managers and perform a sales function. It's not happening, regardless of what you think. And the company's coronavirus response, and employee support during the pandemic was so amateurish that you wonder if there are any experienced management and field support personnel making decisions at corporate and regional offices. It took weeks for the company to provide any gloves or masks for employees expected to continue to work in stores. And the first mask sent was so porous that hair on male employees chins stuck out through the mask. What rocket scientist made the decision to send that out? Is that person making more than $13 dollars an hour? If so they are overpaid. But hey, if you continued to work during the initial stages of the pandemic, and put your life on the line helping to stock shelves in grocery stores, we won't give you any hazard pay, but we will make you eligible to get a special $250.00 grant if you're having financial troubles. HEY! We are all having financial difficulties cause you don't pay us anything! And thanks for sending that nice video out with 37 vice presidents, that we had no idea who they are or what they do, telling us how great it is they we remained out there on the job, while you were all working from home cause they closed your offices so you wouldn't get sick. It was really uplifting to know that you non expendables took the time to convey those totally non sincere messages to all of us expendables. Gee, I hope you guys stayed safe while we were laying it all on the line for $13 bucks an hour. Bottom line thoughts. 1. This company doesn't give a hoot about their employees. At least their field level employees. 2. The pay is terrible. And apparently there is no HR directed employee review and compensation policy. Because no one is getting performance reviews, and no one is getting raises. There are employees here that have not received a raise in years. That in itself tells you all you really need to know about this company. 3. Career growth is extremely rare and unlikely. There are no developmental activities performed. There is no career guidance. Interaction with supervisors is very rare. Just keep on plugging away out there and shut up. 4. Training is poor, and non existent for some of the position expectations. 5. Find something else, you'll hate this job.

Unreliable and inconsistent hours/ assignments. Mileage reimbursement below national average, no raises during 3 years, if you take a week off, they’ll permanently move your assignments to other schedules (you lose those hours permanently!)

Company has no benefits for part time employees. It doesn’t matter how hard I work or how much I get done. Infact many days I finish my entire workload early which just results in less money and less pay than coworkers who complete half the work I do in double the time. These people make the same per hour as me because there is no raise for good work or longevity. NO time off. NO RAISES. Minimum effort equals maximum reward. Company treats part time employees as disposable. UNORGANIZED. No one seems to know what’s going on as the chain of commands is so big. COVID 2019 New York State. We are expected to work 12-8pm for NO extra money per hour in the worst infected state in the country. We weren’t given masks or sanitizer until yesterday and it’s April 27th. They offered $250 compensation a 1 time payment but you must meet many qualifications and jump through hoops to apply. I’m sure tanya has been working from home though! While I am on the front lines making $12 an hour. BARely minimum wage in NEW YORK. As store employees get $2 additional an hour!

Upper management and mid-level management will say anything to clients and then expect sales to shoulder the burden without inadequate support and resources. No raises in years, despite an increase of responsibilities. A bogus structure depending on meeting impossible goals set by clients for “bonuses”. Providing tools that are ineffective. They don’t understand the it own software and apply standards to the software that are simply erroneous.

Pros

Weekends off and can go in early to avoid crowds.

Cons

No raises, no vacation, work 40 hours but no benefits. Management is horrible. Want employees to use their devices without compensation and do more work and responsibilities with no increase in pay.
