Pros

Free parking, Some colleagues are good

Cons

This place is toxic. There are immature and inexperienced managers that could make your life miserable. They have their favorites and make it clear to you that they do not give a damn about what you think. If you want to feel the high school life again, then you can work here. Gossips everywhere, even your so called manager gossips about you. You can never express yourself, even if you do, your opinion will be regarded as rubbish. Insecure managers... they see only themselves as the intelligent ones and blame you for their own mistakes (silly and childish mistakes). I have never experienced this in my life. Have you ever come across a manger blaming you for a fight between her and a colleague just because you wanted to work as a team. .. Yes, stupid things happen here..... If you have a choice, please run

Pros

- free parking, tea and coffee, - some colleagues are competent and nice

Cons

- Agenus has very poor company culture. Bullying, arrogance, abuse, gossiping, unfair treatment happen on daily bases and HR do nothing about it. - Unnecassary very stresful working place due to chaotic environment, no long term goals, constantly changing priorities, poor organization and unrealistic timelines, - Poor home - work balance, - You are expected to work very hard (also after work hours), but don't think that your effort will be recognized... unless you have some special relationship with your supervisor. - Favoritism, favoritism, favoritism, - Extremely poor C-level management. They are unable to translate ideas into practice. - High people turnover

Pros

Strong leadership from Agenus Headquarters. Clear vision and direction

Cons

Toxic environment mainly created by a few managers who abuse their power to mistreat people. The only people who historically have survived and succeed in Agenus-UK are those who are willing to follow the culture these handful of managers have created. To spread malicious gossip and rumors for their colleagues in an attempt to hide their incompetency both in managerial and scientific level. Unfortunately, this toxic culture extends to the way the handle communication with Agenus-USA , gossiping about colleagues in Lexignton or the level of information they 'choose' to share with the Headquarters. One would hope that with such negative culture HR would step up to handle the situation effectively. Instead the person who had been appointed HR can only be described as a dysfunctional personality who 'hates' any social interaction and has used their power to defame both current employees as well as previous ones. For the ones considering joining Agenus-UK be sure of one thing. The better you are at your job the more will fight you, the more will gossip about you and they will make it intolerable for you to work there. There are specific managers who have mastered the art of creating conflict among employees just to hide all their inferiority syndromes. And the not so few who surround these managers will look for anything, simply anything to create rumours , slander and create a toxic , depressing environment that has previously affected several colleagues both personally and professionally.
