I have been working at Agincare full-time

    Pros

Sustainable organisation that won’t get sold on or go bust Lots of long serving team members and great examples of career progression. Fun, care and great spirit across the services and support functions. Know what’s going on and lobby for sector improvements, bigger picture stuff.

    Cons

Social care is rewarding but hard work and sector terms and conditions still need improving.

I worked at Agincare full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There were absolutely none to mention.

    Cons

Everything. Their ethos, their way of communication with employees, the pay, the office spaces, everything. You try something different, which works and proves them they were wrong, and they fire you. Great way to work!!

I have been working at Agincare full-time

    Pros

You will only have pros if you’re white. This company is racist.

    Cons

    • You get racially abused by patients, • You get physically abused by patients, • There’s no help or support, • Supervisors talk about you behind your back to other workers and family members, •If you’re not white you won’t get the benefits they tell you about in the interview, • They have no respect for you. I could go on but I won’t.

I have been working at Agincare full-time for more than a year

    Pros

-Never late with payments. -Better pay than average care homes, -Opportunity for advancement in company. - Some management and HR are understanding and cooperative.

    Cons

-Big lack of communication with managment - No more than two weeks holiday at one time. -Overworked employees -Unorganised administration, they like to say that the employee is at the top of the pyramid, and that we are valuable, but that is just rubbish, actions talk louder than words. - Greedy "family owned, and run" corporation, run by people who don't care about work environment, and will do zero vetting in regards to whom they provide services for.
