Everyone’s friendly and welcoming and senior management have a true open door policy so you feel your opinion and contribution is valued. Pay is fair for the roles, there are some great company benefits, and they offer a good work/life balance.

Pros
Staff are well paid and cared about. Financially sound company with an exceptional history. Customers come first kind of attitude - i.e. ethical.
Cons
Perhaps the board could be more diverse (predominately white, middle class, males), but most firms could do more, so I can't really hold this against them.

Pros
Alan Boswell Group is an excellent company to work with and for - I have been here nearly 8 years and in this time they have helped me through some difficult issues being very accommodating and understanding. My husband broke his back and Alan Boswell allowed me to work extra hours over my contracted part time hours ( after having a baby) which then helped make up the money we were losing through my husband being out of action. The Alan Boswell Group take on apprentices with job offers at the end and offer CII training, not to mention the enormous amount of money raised each year for charities and we all get involved. You will be rewarded for your hard work with pay rises and a bonus EVERY year, if you are willing to work, you will be noticed. I have read some recent reviews on here and it's certainly not true about a high staff turn over - ABG will try all they can to help people fit in and learn but sometimes some people are just not right for the job and that's the same in every company. I for one love my job and the people I work with and I travel 2 hours every day to work there. I wonder how many people can say they love their job ?
Cons
Being a skinny blonde ( now brown ) vegan does not get you anywhere at the Alan Boswell Group - hard work does !
