Pros
If you're a "yes" person who doesn't have the skills , experience or ability to do the job you've been "promoted" to do ... you'll do great!
Cons
Everything is a PR stunt on Social media, lip service and fakery is an art at Alcumus! This company does not care about its staff or customers. 'Fast-pace' is code for lack of strategy, leadership and clear and concise communication and throwing toys out of the pram when an ill thought out concept doesn't work. Good people are leaving ... With circa of 600 employees 1/3 of the workforce have left in the last year alone ... if that doesn't say everything about this toxic company, I don't know what will! All positive Glassdoors feedback is by current employees who are 'strongly encouraged' as part of their onboarding process to leave good reviews to up Alcumus scores as they can't replace staff quickly enough ...

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review and its always disappointing to hear that your experience wasn't necessarily left on a positive note, particularly when you had been with Alcumus for a number of years and good tenure. Our glassdoor reviews are at the discretion of our employees and former employees and it is important we take the time to understand both the positive and constructive points made as we will do so here. The business is growing and evolving and we continue to implement a number of programmes this year to develop our teams at all levels. I would be happy to discuss this feedback with you in more detail and take any points on board if you would like to do so, please reach out at nathan.hopkins@alcumus.com

Pros
Free sweatshirt and free water bottle
Cons
I wish I could give this company a zero-star rating, but unfortunately, that's not an option. Working at Alcumus has been an absolutely dreadful experience, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts to spare others from the misery I've endured. Poor Management: The management at is shockingly inept. It's evident that they lack the basic skills required to lead a team effectively. Communication is a disaster—important information is frequently withheld, leaving employees to scramble and make decisions in the dark. There's a clear lack of transparency in decision-making, and feedback from employees is often dismissed or ignored. It's baffling how such a group of individuals managed to rise to their positions. Micromanagement and Inflexibility: Micromanagement seems to be the company's favorite pastime. Instead of trusting their employees to do their jobs, managers hover over our shoulders, nitpicking every minor detail and stifling any ounce of creativity. The lack of trust is palpable and contributes to an environment of fear rather than empowerment. Furthermore, the company's inflexibility regarding work hours and remote work options shows a complete disregard for the well-being and work-life balance of their employees. High Turnover Rates: It's no surprise that the turnover rates are alarmingly high. Talented individuals are constantly leaving in search of greener pastures, and it's not difficult to understand why. The company's refusal to address the toxic culture and its failure to retain competent employees speaks volumes about its priorities—or lack thereof. Conclusion: I strongly advise anyone considering a position at Alcumus to think long and hard before accepting an offer. The toxic work environment, poor management practices, and overall lack of respect for employees' well-being make this company an absolute nightmare to work for. If you value your mental health, career growth, and sanity, steer clear of Alcumus. There are far better opportunities out there that will appreciate and nurture your talents rather than squander them in this soul-crushing environment.

Pros
Good culture to work at and employee well being is taken seriously- overall friendly environment.
Cons
Processes are overly complicated and lack communication between others. Working pattern is not consistent and there is the silent expectation to work more than your contracted hours.

Pros
Alcumus is a company that is always striving to be more significant and more impactful. The drive from the company to help more and more people is incredible. But what makes Alcumus a special employer to work for is the huge emphasis on good wellbeing and its people.
Cons
Due to the nature of all the company divisions, Alcumus has always suffered from silios and a lack of clear and consistent communication. Lots of amazing people work here, but often they don't know what other people are working on or working towards. The marketing department desperately needs some tlc, and has been undernurchered and un-advanced.

Pros
Cannot put into words how much I enjoy working at Alcumus. They tick all the boxes - Opportunities to grow and develop, exciting project opportunities, inclusive, completely open and honest right up to the CEO. Their values and goals are brilliant and I 100% believe that their staff are all appreciated and are at the heart of everything that they do. Success is shared and everyone works hard to be successful. There is genuinely a 'one team' approach and in my very first week the CEO met with all the newbies and made it clear that his main goal is to ensure everyone is supported and listened too - we hold each other up not knock each other down, everyone has bad days and we need to look after one another. Alcumus and it's Senior Management Team is a breath of fresh air.
Cons
(Also a positive!) Currently going through growing pains - Alcumus is growing fast and it's taking the teams a little while to keep up in terms of processes and global communication. However, this is improving!
