Pros
Free water bottle and pen
Cons
The culture is based on favoratism and not ability. There is barrierbetween office and field based staff with little if any team work. If you are operational the workload is heavy with poor reward. Experienced staff have been driven out leaving those remaining with too heavy a work load which means there is no one to provide support and training for newer peopl.

Pros
Great culture and purpose. Everyone is genuinely open to collaboration and willing to share knowledge.
Cons
Growing pains of a company that's scaling fast can make it harder to maintain communication and alignment but that's a fun challenge to have

Cons
I wish I could give this company a zero-star rating, but unfortunately, that's not an option. Working at Alcumus has been an absolutely dreadful experience, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts to spare others from the misery I've endured. Poor Management: The management at is shockingly inept. It's evident that they lack the basic skills required to lead a team effectively. Communication is a disaster—important information is frequently withheld, leaving employees to scramble and make decisions in the dark. There's a clear lack of transparency in decision-making, and feedback from employees is often dismissed or ignored. It's baffling how such a group of individuals managed to rise to their positions. Micromanagement and Inflexibility: Micromanagement seems to be the company's favorite pastime. Instead of trusting their employees to do their jobs, managers hover over our shoulders, nitpicking every minor detail and stifling any ounce of creativity. The lack of trust is palpable and contributes to an environment of fear rather than empowerment. Furthermore, the company's inflexibility regarding work hours and remote work options shows a complete disregard for the well-being and work-life balance of their employees. High Turnover Rates: It's no surprise that the turnover rates are alarmingly high. Talented individuals are constantly leaving in search of greener pastures, and it's not difficult to understand why. The company's refusal to address the toxic culture and its failure to retain competent employees speaks volumes about its priorities—or lack thereof. Conclusion: I strongly advise anyone considering a position at Alcumus to think long and hard before accepting an offer. The toxic work environment, poor management practices, and overall lack of respect for employees' well-being make this company an absolute nightmare to work for. If you value your mental health, career growth, and sanity, steer clear of Alcumus. There are far better opportunities out there that will appreciate and nurture your talents rather than squander them in this soul-crushing environment.

Pros
Good culture to work at and employee well being is taken seriously- overall friendly environment.
Cons
Processes are overly complicated and lack communication between others. Working pattern is not consistent and there is the silent expectation to work more than your contracted hours.

Pros
- I joined very recently and the support from the team and management has been excellent. - The company culture is incredible! The management team is very supportive and there is a lot of opportunities to grow. - The work eCompliance does makes an impact and is helping people be safe! - The office is very nice and big! Great space to be working.
Cons
- I'm unsure why there are negative reviews of eCompliance as my experience has been nothing short of great since I've joined.

Pros
Culture that's genuine and unpretentious. A mission that you can feel proud of. Investment in leadership that can move from startup to scale up and hypergrowth. Supportive team and desire to onboard new staff effectively during the Covid 19 working-remote period. Nice digs downtown and can be accessed safely if you can't easily work from home. Good work-life balance if you can live that value yourself, it's not judged poorly to unplug - it's necessary to perform here but its recognized that recharging is needed too.
Cons
Resourcing and hiring needed faster and led to some common issues in the SaaS world. Conflicting priorities means choosing one over another, either/or rather than both. These account for some negative feedback in the past, however, Alcumus investment and revamped engineering teams are evidence of a great shift toward realizing the potential of people and product!

Pros
The people and the culture here is excellent! There’s a real work hard play hard environment with people laughing on the floor every day. High energy, high reward, canteen on site, career progression, excellent company benefits, free onsite parking in Cardiff office, recreation room, involved and approachable CEO. Generally a fantastic employer to work for.
Cons
This is a fast paced employer which worked for me but it won’t work for all. Your role will not be the only role you do and you will be expected to involve yourself in other areas. There are very high expectations and management will be looking for people to constantly be moving forward and driving the business upwards (which is a good thing). However, if you like to get comfortable in a role by simply getting your work done and going home, this role may not be for you.

Hi Really appreciate your review and I agree with you that the people here are fantastic! There has been a lot of positive change over the last 12-18 months so we do appreciate that the pace can feel uncomfortable for some people- glad to hear that wasn't the case for you! If there is anything you like to add, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me directly: terri.foulston@alcumusgroup.com

Pros
Great onboarding and induction process - which cemented my view of Alcumus as being a people centric business. A fast paced environment - with ambitious growth plans that are exciting to be a part of. A positive and collaborative culture at all levels making teams feel proud to be part of the journey we are on. Good benefits package - good work/life balance! But ultimately - its the people!!
Cons
Some may struggle with the pace of the business - embrace that and enjoy the ride

Pros
Great people to work with in the various teams
Cons
Awful culture driven from most senior in the organisation. Unrealistic targets, no support to help you succeed but lots of ego from senior sales leaders telling you how to do it better. Awful leadership here in Stratford and Alcumus generally with real culture of fear.
