Thank you for the candid feedback. Although we have had little internal turnover since inception, unfortunately, it does happen. At the time this review was written (August 2017) and our response, it has been a while since we parted ways with someone from our internal team.
Our current training practice is now more formalized for new hires. We also do weekly group trainings and in our open floor environment, always encourage anyone to ask for help if he/she needs it. We also do our best to set the expectation up front that we provide and encourage direct feedback in an effort to help people grow professionally and the company thrive. We encourage everyone to be inquisitive, get out of their comfort zone, and own their job.
I believe we provide everyone the opportunity for success and reasonable time to prove their skills. We did go through a period of transition last year due to rapid growth, internal promotions, and preparing for one of the owners to be out on maternity leave. As we grow, our preference is to promote internally since the company and the person have invested time in one another. Even though the opportunity with us was not the right long term match, we wish you the best of luck in your career.
