      Needs stable leadership and direction

      Pros

Great people, opportunity to learn and develop within role. Hard working teams Reasonable benefits and pay Good place for up to 2 years

      Cons

Lots of change at leadership level has impacted the teams and strategy. Lack of leadership and direction in some areas has a huge affect on employee turnover. Lack of training and development throughout Areas of the business not paid competitively Teams under resourced and individuals often expected to do the work of several causing burnout Leadership strategy often to stall and not address issues, for example still no support for home working a year into a pandemic. Employee well-being not a priority, only addressed on a reactive basis. Majority of talent has moved on or is persevering while being overworked. Makes the same mistakes repeatedly due to changes in management and failure to listen to talent

The Occasional Bright Spark in an Otherwise Failing Company

      14 Jan 2021 - Technical Services Engineer

      Business Outlook

      Pros

A number of the people here are excellent, but this has been thinned out considerably in the last few years and this will cease to be a pro in the not too distant future.

      Cons

      - Absolutely abhorrent, clueless management (directors and above primarily, with certain leads and managers also in this category). - The product is a broken, irrecoverable abomination that defies logic at every turn. - The team driving the development of the product are completely clueless and is in desperate need of an overhaul. - Despite this, new 'features' continue to be slapped on in an attempt to check boxes, not to add more value for the customer base. - Direction of the company is devoid of ambition and only focussed on the bottom-line. - A lack of accountability results in talentless individuals maintaining their positions, rather than being ousted and replaced by passionate, intelligent individuals. - Quality employee churn rate is utterly unsustainable and cannot continue to be maintained much longer. - New employees aren't given the level of attention required to flourish and expand their abilities. If you're fresh out of University and looking for a way to kick-start your career, this isn't it, at least not anymore.

Great exposure to technology and learn so much

      Pros

Get exposure to a great range of tech and great hands on knowledge. I learnt a huge amount during my time, and got to work with great people. Everyone is really passionate - from SOC to Software Engineers to HR. Fun environment, and nice perks. Shift pattern for us in the UK is set and works well.

      Cons

It is fast paced, which does mean there can be quite a few changes and the platform is still developing. Changes in senior/exec leaders has meant changes in direction.

      Not Great, Not Terrible

      Pros

      - modern tech stack (Python, Spark) - good senior engineers / managers to guide you if you're starting out

      Cons

      - long-term pay freeze in place - understaffed in the support and engineering departments

I wouldn’t recommend working here - great teams but leadership let them down.

      Pros

Good benefits, and friendly culture in the office. The people are a real asset as there are many very intelligent people working here. Lower and mid-management are great and care about their people

      Cons

They don’t care about employees. They periodically make redundancies and then replace them with similarly named positions. The Belfast office was closed and then they announced a US office in the same breath. We are losing people quickly as we’re fed up and essential staff aren’t being replaced, increasing the workload for the rest of us. Pay isn’t good and very low compared to other similar jobs I’ve seen online. They consistently bring out new products without fixing legacy product. We are building on top things that are broken. UI is slow for customers and no one is doing anything about it. HR team is very disorganised and projects and systems they bring out often fall flat. Delayed reward system points and performance management ratings are an example of this.

Growing too quickly causing huge growing pains

10 Aug 2020 - Designer in Cardiff, Wales, Wales

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Some of the most intelligent and amazing people I have ever worked with (all mostly gone). The culture used to be very open, friendly and supportive within the design and engineering teams.

      Cons

Overly dominated by engineering. Making huge business decisions based on opinions. Disorganised processes. People promoted at random into non relevant roles. No career progression. No managerial understanding or respect toward the design team. Random layoffs in mass.
