Pros

An average company for entry level candidates. All points written here are purely reality, it is not a fiction or any cooked up story Request for management to take this positively and adapt these suggestions if possible. All information written here were purely my opinions, Intention is not to hurt feelings of any person or make any person happy, If any current employees feeling same, can give a thumbs-up. Pros ~ Opportunities to learn (sometime). Onsite opportunities (sometime). Flexible work timings (always). Senior employees are very supportive (sometime). Salary is good, hikes depends on performance (not sure if this hurts any current employee)

Cons

Cons ~ Projects teams are not properly structured, you may get confused about your role Tasks distribution are not balanced. You don't get value for your work, Managers and Leads won't accept your idea and work related suggestions, so it is risky to share your ideas. SDLC process needs to be followed properly, Even senior people won't care much about this, Notice period is too long, 3 months, very few companies outside will accept this, This is a bottleneck, You will be locked here for longer time, It will be very hard to get out of company because of 3 months notice period

Pros

Actually there are zero Pros for Middle level engineers. For Freshers, it could be a choice as an opportunity door into embedded systems.

Cons

Lots of Cons: 1.Management is inconsistent and mixes product engineering and service opportunities. Believes in Pressure. If you are from American R&D organizations -you will be offended by their unfriendliness and lack of engagement in discussions. They will Push you without your voluntary approval or discussion on deadlines. This Pressure happens in combination with short term projects with sometimes insightful technologies which might actually interest you a bit. Sorry, but taking longer time to deliver while investing in learning will be harmful to your appearance here! Once branded as a person requiring a Push , you will be constantly under artificial pressure and you can't do anything about and you will not be engaged with sincere discussions. 2. Pay is something that could add to your misery. Overall a career killer for middle level guys. Only those who have been with the organization for a longer period have hope.

Pros

1) Flexible working timings with no specific login and logout time. 2) Decent pay for college grads coming out of college. 3) Free tea, coffee, biscuits, fruits and bread. 4) Office is in a cosmopolitan location. 5) Most of the senior engineers are easily approachable and help the new hires. 6) Job security as employees who are idle are not given the chit.

Cons

1) No cab facility. Fuel reimbursement is given only to managers. 2) No work from home option as laptops are given only to managers and people who are asked to travel for official purpose. 3) Very little development work and lot of work is around code maintenance. 4) No process of any sort is followed in projects. Processes are just defined but never practiced. 5) Engineers are made to slog and work on weekends with no comp off. They are expected to work on weekends. 6) No cafeteria. Have to get their own meal/ get meals from tiffin box vendors/ eat outside. 7) Exit is a pain as notice period is for 3 months and no consideration will be given to reduce it. 8) No benefits like stock options or cash bonus. 9) Team outings are ridiculous. Employees are expected to pay from their pockets if the meagre budget per person per outing is exceeded. 10) Teams size is small and role of each individual is unclear most of the times. Work is not equally divided amongst team members. 11) Hikes are not clearly justified. 12) Onsite opportunities are very limited.
