    Pros

I worked at Allied Irish Bank (GB) full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Very customer centric model, niche place in market, actively looking to simplify process and involve staff in improving way things are done. Taken a lot of pain during years of financial difficulty across the industry but now getting back to what it does best in a more sustainable model

    Cons

Restructuring has resulted in quite small number of locations in GB. A southern (London) based head office.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and continue to involve staff in developing the model and delivering the strategy

I worked at Allied Irish Bank (GB) (Less than a year)

    Pros

colleagues are nice. One supportive manager but he struggled with lower ranking managers ruling the branch.

    Cons

Poor, old fashioned management and ego is a huge problem here. I wouldn't recommend AIB to anyone.
TAkes years to get promotion for very little pay to start off with

    Cons

old IT systems and manual outdated procedures. Ambitious but unlikely to achieve the levels they aim for. scattered thin around UK
