      Interesting work, stifled by bureaucracy

      - interesting mission - good scientists

      Cons

      - advancement is often based on favoritism, not competence - leadership does not like criticism - the computation division is run by people with little or no experience in machine learning and is now all about process and paperwork

      Excellent resources and environment

      Pros

      Exciting, encouraging place to work. Atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming and colleagues are excellent scientists. As the company is young, there is plenty of space to develop and take responsibility for new directions and projects.

      Cons

      Some scientists are still very much working in the academic way ("my project", "my paper" etc.) which I think constrains their own output.
