Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at Amey full-time for more than a year
Pros
Good working hours Job is basic, good if you’ve got no ambition
Cons
Management do not communicate with employees about anything. Amey as a company do not care for their employees. We received no recognition for working throughout the Corona pandemic during lockdown, whilst often completing the tasks of 4 employees. Management are clueless, no people skills what so ever, spineless and have no care for their employees. The pay is basic and work is unchallenging. No career progression. Other employees are bone idle, management have no interest in disciplining them or even challenging them on their lack of effort.

Pros
Great for career progression within the businesses
Cons
Management expect too much from staff, and do not have the backbone to stand up to the businesses regarding policies and procedures. It is a very stressful environment with little support.

RecommendsNegative OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI have been working at Amey full-time for more than a year
Pros
Competitive salaries if you are qualified and definitely a decent focus on training and career progression.
Cons
There is a very high turnover in the company as it is in the process of being sold and due to the company being so big sometimes employees don't feel very valued and bosses generally aren't able to go out of their way to keep people.

Pros
Good company to work for. Provides PPE, salaries paid regularly, looks after staffs work life balance where possible.
Cons
Work duplication, some staffs in the back office talks to engineers in disrespectful manner, low wages compared to other companies in the sector, little chance of career progression as its run by managers like a family company- nepotism reigns here.

Pros
Really enjoy the work I’m undertaking. Pay is ok
Cons
Senior management continually fight with clients. Highest turn over I’ve seen in any company, can’t keep staff. Refuse to change the way they work because ‘this is the way they’ve always done it’. No career progression, you have to wait until the person above you moves on!
