    Pros

    Personal benefits and salary are good as is the support you receive to achieve your potential. Good career prospects are there for the right person

    Cons

    Can be stressful and the salary reflects that. It is a complex job in a heavily regulated environment. Very satisfied customers are what the company is all about.

    I worked at Anglian Water full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good pay, good overtime opportunities, good benefits. Access to Anglian water owned parks with free parking. Ability to work from home (but only in certain circumstances)

    Cons

    Overworked! Not enough recognition for those who put the extra hours and work in. Too much favouritism in terms of promotions and progression. Management having a lack of people skills.

    Advice to Management

    Review who you are putting management positions. I left down to poor management! Too many favourites who were getting places because of sucking up to management and not enough support given to those who actually work hard. Lack of progression due to management putting their "favourites" into job roles.

    Pros

    100% customer focussed, great salary and benefits, friendly working environment. Flexible working, great training, options for further education and job security,

    Cons

    Progression within the company is challenging depending on location, the graduate schemes and access to Ilm 5 and higher is only available to band 4 and above. Anglian do invest in there people but the availability of additional learning and succession planning could be explored more.

    Clearer opportunities for Development, succession planning.

    I have been working at Anglian Water full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    From the beginning of my employment with Anglian water I have had a great team of support from management to team leaders and mentors. The working environment is great as everyone is really friendly and welcoming. The job it's self is hard and there is a lot to learn but this isn't a problem with the training given.

    Cons

    When you first start the job there is a lot of new information so initially it can be overwhelming- although it doesn't last!
