I have been working at Antea Group for less than a year

    Pros

Antea Group invests greatly in training its employees. Every employee receives extensive safety training to ensure that they know how to work safely and that their wellbeing is protected. As an Intern, all permanent full time employees are very patient and willing to take the time to explain things and answer questions. Cons

Although Antea Group heavily recruits entry level engineers, they do little engineering type work. However, they claim to be developing a program to get young engineers more involved and exposed to work that meets the requirements for obtaining professional engineering licensure.

I have been working at Antea Group for less than a year

    Pros

The best aspect of working with Antea Group is the company culture and the employees. Through out the summer I was able to maintain a very good work-home life balance. Managers are flexible with schedules and are easy to approach and ask questions. In addition, every single person I worked with throughout the summer was easy to get along with, laid back, and exceptionally fun to get to know.

    Cons

A con of working with Antea Group as an intern with an environmental engineering major was there was little technical work in which knowledge gained from school could be applied. In addition, the field work can be repetitive and unengaging.

    Advice to Management

The only major change for this internship I would suggest is to assign more challenging work.
