Pros

Great tech, lots of kind and smart people, generous benefits (once you understand how they work!), culture is good and we have lots of fun being being events and giving back initiatives

Cons

Pay is very average. Not a particularly flexible culture - heavy office focus which also leads to hiring mediocre people near offices versus hiring the best people. We have grown fast so the managers and senior leaders are not particularly strong or experienced. Not convinced highest performers are rewarded - feels like tenure and loyalty to CEO are the most valued things here

Pros

I will list several things that I enjoy most about working here, but there are thousands of other reasons why the company is amazing. 1. The people - everyone is extremely hard working and nice. They are all very smart and always ready to help. 2. Flexible schedule - I was hired as fully remote, but I also have the option to go to an office if I wanted to. Most days, I work from home and it works perfectly for me. 3. The product. The products Appcast offer are absolute game changers and there’s big potential to be successful in many other countries. 4. The industry. Such a niche but exciting industry, especially for someone who comes from a different background. It is however, quite technical. 5. The culture - very similar to my comments above about the people. Although the company is constantly growing, it does feel like a start up. There is no such thing as a bad question, people listen to your feedback and you feel like your work matters. 6. Travel opportunities

Cons

Salary - Sometimes, it feels like the compensation isn’t equitable. It really depends on your time management skills and dedication, but expect some longer than usual working hours. I’m not talking about investment banking-type of long hours, but sometimes it feels like we should get paid more for the workload.
