    Pros

    Lovely staff, Approachable and supportive management, CEO friendly and involved with staff, Nice office, provided facilities to work from home, care about staff welfare, issues resolved quickly, colleagues supportive when taking/dealing with difficult calls and give me that work life balance.

    Some procedures I think could have changed.

    Great call handlers but all sadly leaving

    Cons

    Money making is their only interest. Wasting ambulance resources...even during a pandemic they insisted we called ambulances for people who had contacts or cctv...chasing ambulances every 60 mins despite being asked not to by the majority of areas, as they just simply couldn’t cope. Being told it was policy despite no proof of this being the case. CEO more interested in talking about the share holders and how much money they’ve lost due to covid...hardly gives you much confidence. People leaving in there droves due to bad management. No person centred care it’s about how much money they can get from the elderly, councils and family’s who think they are buying into a business that cares about their loved ones

    Pros

    The people that are on your same wage

    Cons

    Abuse of the Ambulance service, it’s used like it’s a free service taking up 100’s of unneeded calls. CEO is a jobs worth that hates people working from home but does it himself. Never communicates to staff, only via a weekly email full of pompous rubbish. They will do anything they can to get out of paying money owed to you, policies come out of no where and never backed up with paper copies yet if they overpay you they want it back in a instant. Strict on loo breaks! HR team are bullies.
