Pros

Co-workers who work unbelievably hard for bad management

Cons

I could not have imagined how truly awful this place is. I read the reviews before I accepted the job, and discounted them. If you learn one thing from this review – believe the bad reviews. Unless you plan to move to North Korea you likely will never experience what occurs in this company. Warning – they get you to join by painting a great picture during the interview process. Even peers will seem positive during the process, but notice that most times a representative from HR is in the room (because they are watching and critiquing the interviewer). Surely it won’t happen to you right? Wrong! You could be a super star performer at every previous employer – here you will be the slime on the bottom of the executive management shoes. Seriously, you will be yelled at – frequently. Being told you are a “f’ing idiot” and incompetent is a real thing here. You will never meet expectation of management or acknowledged for your work – ever. Save yourself the trouble and don’t expect any form of appreciation – nothing can be done well enough, quick enough and you will be told repeatedly what a bad job you are doing. As far as being treated as a professional – forget about it. From yelling at you, to swearing at you and personal insults to being tracked by the minute, this is beyond business control. If for example you are working on an implementation and have to stay until 2:00 am, you better be back in the office at 8:00 am or you will be expected to take vacation time. I frequently saw team members have 55 hours logged by Friday at noon and leave at 3:00pm and have to take a half day vacation. 1. You will never – never get a raise! 2. There are no bonuses – ever, don’t believe that lie. 3. You will not advance in position, you may take on the work but you WILL NOT be recognized or rewarded. 4. There is no help once you are inside the organization. This company is independently owned by a twisted individual who doesn’t care or believe in any employee motivation, recognition or attempt to retain anyone. Companies like this should not exist in the US. We should be entitled to basic decency and professionalism. If you care about yourself, sleep on the streets before you compromise your sanity and take a job here.

12 years a slave!

Pros

They give me a paycheck and I can take as many bathroom breaks as I want...and occasionally we get the scraps left over from the senior leadership meeting lunches...that's about the best I can come up with.

Cons

Oh goody where should I start? Maybe with the BIG bully in HR or maybe the slave masters in senior leadership or maybe a warning to candidates to not make the same mistake I made. The world would be a better place if this company didn't exist or maybe the company would be a better place to work and more successful if it's senior leaders would stop being so overbearing and learn to listen to employees. When you interview we're going to butter you up and make you feel like the company is just stellar! Why you ask? Oh because everyone you've talked to has been forced to go through "interview training" where we learn ARGO propaganda to sell to unsuspecting candidates. It's particularly sad all the college kids who think they've landed a great gig only to realize you're not going anywhere fast and you're using technology dating back to before you were born. You know that scene in The Lion King when Scar tells Simba to run away? Think of that when you are thinking about applying here or interviewing here or thinking of accepting an offer from here. Take heed from someone trying to escape: RUN! RUN AWAY AND NEVER LOOK BACK!
