I worked at ArjoHuntleigh full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Nice offices and working environment. Many loyal staff who have worked there for years. Some good managers.

    Cons

Lack of communication from head office and management. Too focussed on profit. Do not listen to managers and staff who have been in the business for years.

    Advice to Management

Be more open, communicate more often, it stops the rumours. Cherish your loyal staff, try to hold onto the company's historically good reputation for service and products. It is not all about "the bottom line"

    Pros

    Company car
    Friendly atmosphere
    Prioritise your own work
    Making a difference
    Job satisfaction
    Great colleagues
    Good pay and hols

    Cons

I worked in the rental sector and tbh it could be ran with alot more efficiency! So much potential! Wish the manager would just step in and tell it how it is.... but he just seems to hide behind a computer screen. So much pressure put on rental team. No equipment ready for dispatch. Expected to do it all ourselves. Feels as if we are treated like dogs bodies! Work incentives none what so ever.... I'm just glad im a self motivated worker, which I believe others are not due to this.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your staff.
Need leadership in decontamination process. It truely is the heartbeat of the company and its skipping a beat. More training, career development. Rentals seem to do everything cleaning, service and sales.... but no other department seems to help us. Communication is key. Patients come first not figures.

I have been working at ArjoHuntleigh full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

You are not micro managed - you are given objectives, and it is down to your own Managerial integrate to complete objectives.

    Cons

Extremely target focused, almost to the point of failing to hit a target is not acceptable. Service always comes second to sales, even when they out perform.

    Advice to Management

Remember to get the most out of employees, they need to want to come to work.

We are always under pressure to meet targets which I feel compromises safety and efficency

    Advice to Management

Communication is important and upper management try to pass on info but lower managers and supervisors do not

I worked at ArjoHuntleigh full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I met some great people at Arjo. Everyone treated each other like family. There is a Kurig machine in the break room with a great selection of teas and coffee. The Addison building is nice. The work was not difficult. If you just want a job where you can turn off your mind for 8+ hours and go home and don't care about career advancement or challenging yourself, then come here.

    Cons

Unfortunately we were all connected by how much we hated working there. Working in customer service is the most soul crushing experience. A team of workers who are the voice of your corporation and they are overworked, under appreciated and miserable. At times there might be ONE person answering calls. One person answering calls from all over the country, from frantic hospitals desperately needing beds and supplies. That's unacceptable.

    Advice to Management

Invest more in the online ordering tool and actually encourage hospitals to use it. Hire an adequately sized customer service team and keep them motivated to come to work by making sure they are never short staffed and swamped.

I have been working at ArjoHuntleigh full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits package, managers work well with emoloyees and schedules

    Cons

Warhouse in Roselle is not staffed appropriately so employees are overworked, almost always have to work holiday weekends, even when they work OT during the week. This needs to change for their safety and allowing work-like balance.

    Advice to Management

Staff appropriately to reduce or eliminate excessive work schedules and unnecessary overtime.

I worked at ArjoHuntleigh (More than a year)
