I have been working at Arup full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Arup provides an environment where you can work on amazing projects world-wide, together with world-class people. The company is unique in its philosophy (read the key speech), offers great benefits, and the feeling of being part something great.

    Cons

Your experience at Arup and your opportunities will vary depending on location and specific group. Be clear what you want and be flexible to move group or office. Really chase opportunities. There is a disproportionate gap in pay between lower grades and senior management due to the profit share arrangements with a massive jump in annual profit share contribution beyond senior engineer.

    No Opinion of CEO

I have been working at Arup full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Everyone in this company wants to do the right thing by each other and do good quality work

    Cons

Unfortunately there is a slight complacency where everyone insists that they can do everything themselves so you have trained engineers dabbling in commercial job running, HR and management issues.
