    I worked at Asian Paints

    Pros

The "tag" of Asian Paints as a brand exposure to a wide range of products

    Cons

-For IBU Berger paints Bahrain, there is no human resource management -Promotion in technical department depends on how old you are and not on merit -very poor communication from top and no encouragement to welcome new technologies -no one to go to if an employee's basic rights get violated - instances of taking credit and recognition of a junior's work (in technical department) are quite often... encountered -managers more keen on taking interest in personal lives rather than professional growth

    I worked at Asian Paints

    Pros

It is the castiest Indian company,so if you are one of those who can leverage their surnames, can apply for it. Others do not even think about it, even if you pass aptitude or interview they will make sure you are failed

    Cons

-There is nor diversity -Innovative,new ideas are not welcomed. -Same monotonous work and processes which are happening from last 65 yrs, typical Indian company resisting to change -The recruiting process is completely castiest, if your surname belongs to reserved category then do not even go for aptitude test or interview. They will face

    Advice to Management

-Although you are indian company but you have presence in different countries. So start acting like MNC's rather than rejecting diversity -Kindly look into India, there is a proxy war or cold war going based on their surnames. In the end, it will have impact on brand of Asian Paints
