    - Career progression is available if you are willing to work for it - Company is the best in the industry no one else comes close - The team are unlike any other team you will work with its like working with family. (in a good way) - Company is going through positive change in all areas and focusing more on what the employees think and need to change. - Competitive OTE and uncapped commission. - Product is amazing in all aspects it works and delivers value to the clients - most people in the industry have heard of AspenTech

    Salary is OK, onsite facilities

    Cons

    Management adopts a culture of fear infused with bullying leading to exceedingly low staff moral and high stress levels. Mental health wellbeing is a major concern for some staff who seem paralised by a draconian bureaucratic system which has reduced them to a shadow of their former self.

    Benefits. Canteen. Free parking. Good starting salary which comes at a high price.

    Cons

    Most draconian company I've ever worked for. Management rules by fear and is proud of hear. CEO and COO are complete control freaks and want to be involved in the smallest decision. There is a process for everything which means that nothing gets done and stress and frustration are present everywhere. You are just a number and will be bullied out if you don't fit the cliques that exist everywhere in this company. Everyone who is there for longer than a year is completely miserable, i have never seen so many miserable people in one place in my life. Don't dare to question the rules and look for improvement areas, you will be on the Black list immediately. Also don't dare to get sick or you will be told by your manager that you are expected to come back in no matter how you are. Otherwise take your papers. Basically be a robot and don't think independently. Or be a completely miserable person who enjoys the misfortune of others and excels at bullying people out. Then you may survive there. But if you want to keep your mental and physical health and work professionally, don't even think of joining. Once you are in, nobody will care about you and every day of your working life will be hell and you will wonder how you deserved that. All this is reflected in a huge turn over of people and in other reviews here which are not written by HR.

    Software does add customer value if adopted.

    Cons

    A highly disorganised company with overtly complicated and unnecessary business processes and reporting mechanisms which lead to frustration, overloading and heightened stress levels which are reflected in high staff turnover. Unfortunately, an aggressive, cliquey, underhand and fearful culture does exist with some individuals lacking basic emotional intelligence and respect for colleagues and their past experience. Standard benefits with slightly below par salaries.

    Pros

    Great people, great location and good onsite amenities. Some really great people who work in the office and they really make the job worth it. Reasonably wages but good package offered.

    Cons

    Management has no idea. Too many technical managers with no actual technical experience. Upper management doesn't listen to staff and this is noted in every quarterly call. Pay raises are minimal (less than a living wage) Promotions are non-existent with them employing new people rather than training existing employees. Even then - existing employees are expected to train seniors new in the door (without the appropriate experience) The company promtes a no working from home attitude which is crazy in this day and age however management work from home reguarly.

    A great experience if you can keep up with the pace. Everyone fully on board with the growth of the business

    Cons

    Limited promotion opportunities in current role stream. Only the best performers are developed further. Relatively few new opportunities are available for existing employees to leap to a higher position

    Niche market, and market leaders Benefits - Health and Dental

    Cons

    -If they can find a way of screwing your compensation, they will do it. It is a not how can we encourage and promote, it is how can we reduce and discourage. Claw backs abundant, many small T's &C's in your contract. -Promotions can be given alongside more responsibility but HR can use terms such as it is a lateral move, so you don't get anything. -CEO is a control freak, will remove anyone who challenges or offers a different view point. Many approvals have to go through him, I remember the expense of a small freestanding whiteboard had to be approved by him. -Career opportunities are limited, prefer to hire externally than move tenured proven associates 5+ years experience in role up the chain. -Any confidential meetings with HR will go back to the person you have an issue without resolution, you are then treated differently. HR are not neutral they work directly for the leadership and not for employees. -Very old school US based Corporate culture, coupled with old engineers that have taken business reigns. US do not allow other regions to operate differently.
