    Pros

    - Career progression is available if you are willing to work for it - Company is the best in the industry no one else comes close - The team are unlike any other team you will work with its like working with family. (in a good way) - Company is going through positive change in all areas and focusing more on what the employees think and need to change. - Competitive OTE and uncapped commission. - Product is amazing in all aspects it works and delivers value to the clients - most people in the industry have heard of AspenTech

    Cons

    - There is a process for everything (but again they are changing this) - Complicated product - Not a role for someone that is lazy.

    Pros

    nice people to work with as always is the case.

    Cons

    The senior management team are bullies/ they do not know what employee engagement means. Great things were meant to happen with the new CEO taking over, but no everything remained the same apart from a lick of fresh paint on walls to paint over them ever deepening cracks in the company culture and style.

    Pros

    Alot of room for growth into various role, in my short time so far I have seen alot of promotion of grad students. Trips to the US, young and energetic team. Very pleasant and intelligent people. Look forward to Mondays.

    There is nothing bad to say about the company at all!

    I have been working at AspenTech full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Supportive management with regular one to ones at an early stage just a few weeks after starting the job. Truly up building environment. Wide and varied career growth opportunities. Possibility to be promoted within a short period of time.

    Cons

    Erratic time schedule. You can start at 8am to finish at 4pm, other times you can finish later. It depends on the levels of productivity.

    Great benefits, job security and training. Aspen is also ahead of other technology companies. Tons of career advancement with acquisitions.

    They have hired some dead weight that needs to be let go.

    Pros

    Great support team and technical consultants.

    Cons

    Everything else. Comp plan is terrible and likely the worst you will come across. More internal selling than to customers just to get pricing approved. Company is not customer centric and this has resulted in lower renewal rates.

    Great products, they sell themselves. Great PTO and health insurance

    Cons

    Promotions are impossible to come by and even if you do get one the salary increase is peanuts. No work from home policy even in the midst of a blizzard. No fun perks. Outdated culture.

    I worked at AspenTech full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    There are some extremely talented individuals working for Aspen. The product sells itself. Very laid back atmosphere besides quarter end (its sales)

    Cons

    too many layers, change comes slow, salary could be more competitive as you move up which causes many to seek more lucrative opportunities. They could save a lot of time and money if they compensated tenured employees more. Marketing is a mess, does a poor job of communicating value of the products to customers over the website.
