I worked at Asurion full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Benefits, some work at home jobs, can move up

    Cons

Metrics are becoming increasingly difficult to maintain (for good, hardworking employees). (no more yearly bonus, etc, holiday pay for the 2 major holidays). Otherwise pay is pretty good, however The metrics are getting higher and higher, expecting you to spend 10 mins to greet customer, relate to them, (be sure to follow the specific steps),make an offer to sell something, discuss why they dont want it if they don't, then confirm their issue is fixed, take notes, and SO MUCH MORE (that is research you're doing to actually fix their issue,) then close. 10 mins isnt enough, maybe sometimes, but it's to much. It feels like once you're getting comfortable in meeting your metrics they raise more! I understand change is good, but pushing people past their limits is to much. There's several different metrics to meet and it's especially difficult when they are upped all at once. It wasn't like this, so idk what changed, but it did.

    Pros

Medical, Dental, 401k, Decent Training. Work From Home

    Cons

Little room to grow. Pay doesn't reflect skill level. Some manager and district supervisors shouldn't be in the positions they are.

I worked at Asurion full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The pay was 16.50/hr and there was temporary work from home options. All the people arent bad.

    Cons

Working at asurion was tough because the customers are unhappy with something the rep cant help them with because the company provides poor wireless services. They just want phones replaced to make the most money. Dont actually care about the people calling.

I worked at Asurion full-time for more than a year

    Pros

work from home, over time hours , meeting different people and teaching the clients. Games and prizes, diversity & culture was great.

    Cons

Pay doesn't match the work load , the amount of stress the employee endures. Rude customers, score chart for calls, Employee always on camera during calls. Promotions seem impossible to get due to the 30 day 60 day 90 day program. This makes your "promotion" no concrete .
