The only pros of this job was the wonderful co-workers I met as a result of working here.
Cons
Low pay with no room for advancement. You will also not receive fair raises in conjunction with your performance; raises are given based upon loyalty and likability with upper management. In fact, they have NO performance metrics in place for any positions Office staff and technicians are held to two completely different standards and are often given conflicting information. The two men who run the company hate each other and it is clear through the different instructions and standards they dole out. IMPOSSIBLE to get straight answers. HR is not aware of common labor laws, tax forms, or workers comp. HR was also prone to engaging in loud conversations regarding sensitive employee matters in communal spaces where the majority of office staff could hear. Building is run down, parking lot is treacherous, despite the owners of Atlantic Biomedical also owning the bulding and parking lot.
