I have been working at Atos full-time

    Pros

Your colleagues will likely be friendly, easy to work with, and the working environment will probably be fine. For a lot of areas it is possible to work fairly flexibly for home as required unless you work in an area whose security restrictions don't allow it.

    Cons

There is big talk about it being a great place to work but in reality this is only lip service. UK management see determined to cut cost with no understanding of the consequences to the service which is provided or the impact on staff.

I worked at Atos full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Friendly colleagues, low pressure working environment, 25 days annual leave and option to buy more, flexible working times. Lower level management are excellent.

    Cons

Sales oriented company, limited opportunities to develop career in software development after graduate scheme. Some technical teams are chaotic. Overall staff morale is low, a lot of older people that don't like the company but stay because the job is easy. Salary progression is below industry standard. Lots of people leave straight after the graduate scheme.Lots of corporate calls that are no help to the job.

I have been working at Atos full-time for more than a year

    Pros

If you sacrifice some of your salary you get health care and other benefits such as trvael insurance and they match pension contributions as is legally required, they sometimes have out of work activities but if you don't have a positive relationships within the working environment those are void. I struggle to find many more positives than that

    Cons

Hierarchical Lack of respect No transparency Awful Salary Evident Favoritism Apparent opportunities given to select individuals Expected to have no life outside of work If you're young you will be pushed around Lack of real work Monotonous jobs when given work to do Severe amount of false promises Business "constantly improving" somehow but nothing changes Career progression is readily available, if you are one of select few favored by managers and given opportunities to gain experience and actually progress Tools to do job are lacking or non existent at times Some of the worst communication between managers and employees you will ever experience I could go on and on about the negatives surrounding the roles within AtoS but I'm juts going to say, don't work here. I entered the company at a young age and i am constantly treated like a child, even by others who have been in the company for a shorter duration than i have. You want a job you are happy in,you deserve to feel valued and your value should be represented by the pay and benefits you receive but AtoS offers none of these, I suggest you stay far far away.
