I have been working at Australian Taxation Office for more than 3 years

    Pros

Highly Flexible Competitive pay for University Students Easy work and good conditions

    Cons

Inconsistent in terms of shifts at times Huge amounts of red tape, often decisions and changes are made without any explanation by local management. Negative work culture - Debt department feels depressing, nobody seems to enjoy work and there is a culture promoting lethargy. Manager tends to change often and quality of manager varies significantly

    Advice to Management

Meaningful incentives to perform well Better quality assurance of management quality
