A very average place to work

      Pros

Flight benefits. Performance based bonus. Most people at an individual level are friendly and easy to get on with. Some interesting teams to work in, with big objectives to deliver against. Flexible working. About to open a new office location in Central London.

      Cons

Used to be a really fun place to work, great culture and a sense of all being a team - Has now become far too corporate (all about your face fitting, etc.). Leadership/recruitment try to pretend that its an agile business and we work as though we're a small start up to attract the 'right talent'. There's still far too much red tape and limitations on what can be done due to the airlines and processes. Extremely limited opportunities to progress. Each team is working towards their own agenda and it's often he who shouts the loudest that gets their own way. Little consideration from the top or the agenda driver on the bigger picture. Has created a toxic working culture. Employees constantly told the business needs to be attracting more/better talent, demotivating and demoralising their existing teams. Despite being one of the only businesses within IAG to deliver a profit in 2020, colleagues were told no bonus or pay rise (understandable given the pandemic situation) and instead were rewarded by being allowed to finish at 15:00 one Friday instead of 17:30 as a "thank you" .....says all you need to know about staff being valued!
