I have been working at Avis Budget Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good commission Good staff discount Over time paid time and half

    Cons

Long hours Basic salary very poor Late shifts Rubbish pay rises Avis keeps cutting benefits ( like bank holiday pay, commission ) No shift Patten so can't plan your life and very few weekends off. Job is only worth doing as rental sales agent at busy airport as any other role including management is not worth it. Some rental sales agent get a grand a month more then managers and lot less work to do! Which is highly unfair i think.

I have been working at Avis Budget Group full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Good selection of fleet and the least rewarded staff work the hardest.

    Cons

Long hours, not enough operators for customers. Top level managers are where all the focus is not mid or front line. Staff just expected to work on locations extra hours without pay if its busy because they can't provide staff. Customers get frustrated because you can't give good service.

I worked at Avis Budget Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    The benefit package is good.

    Cons

Most locations are short of staff so current workers work a lot of long hours and they are not compensated for their efforts. Employees are not given breaks on the second shift and on weekends. They cannot leave the station.
