I worked at BTMU Capital full-time

    Pros

The people were committed to doing excellent work and I was able to obtain valuable experience that I could not otherwise get in Boston. The work was challenging and interesting and the pay was good

    Cons

Restructuring of BTMU in 2012 spelled the end of the company as I knew it and put the past few years on hold. Businesses placed on hold or liquidated and lots of good people left.

    Approves of CEO

I worked at BTMU Capital full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Office was in a good, central location with easy access via public transportation. Salary and benefits were very generous. Good work/life balance

    Cons

Limited advancement possibilities; no obvious career path. Previous experience and expertise was never utilized (indeed, management seemed unaware of it). Branch was under constant threat of closure leading to tension and mistrust.

    Advice to Management

Bottom-up management, not the other way
