I have been working at BabelQuest full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Flexible hours. Really nice owners. Great atmosphere. I'm learning every day. I feel I have a purpose and I feel I'm contributing. I am listened to and my ideas and opinions are always heard.

    Cons

I work well in a noisy office but the office is sometimes too quiet but they are expanding to another floor so in a month or two I'll be able to put the radio on.

    Advice to Management

Monthly progression meetings which help you develop in your role.

I have been working at BabelQuest full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I have always been inquisitive, and being actively encouraged to be like that at work is brilliant. The half day of personal development time per week has given me the opportunity of pursuing my goal of getting an MBA and I feel like I learn something new every day. If you like pushing yourself to learn and grow, this is the place to be. It would be remiss to not remark on the trust and flexibility that is given here....

    Cons

I think this is a common theme in many jobs these days, but having the ability to work from anywhere and the flexibility to actually do it means that you have to make sure that you keep the work/life balance alive. I find that setting myself a goal of going to the gym at a certain time in the evening helps me to switch off and transition away from the working day. Sure, there are times when having a culture of accountability...

I have been working at BabelQuest full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Workplace culture is the no. 1 thing I look for when I consider applying somewhere. I want to know the good days are going to be good and that even on the bad days, I have the support of a real team that has my back and knows how to push me over the finish line. This is what I love most about working here; I genuinely look forward to coming into work each morning and getting down to business in an office that feels like...

    Cons

We work hard, we take ownership of our work, and we're big on accountability, so if you're looking for an easy ride or to be carried by others, this probably isn't the place for you.

I have been working at BabelQuest full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Really engaging and exciting work! The sales process prioritises clients that are a good fit and that we can work in partnership with. As an agency this makes a huge difference. I'm seen as a trusted part of my clients teams rather than someone who gets the blame when things go wrong. Flexibility and trust - as a working parent of a one year old, there are always going to be those days when I have to look after an...

Having spent the previous years working in London, there is less choice when it comes to lunch.

I have been working at BabelQuest full-time for less than a year

    Pros

BabelQuest really is a great place to work and I feel privileged to be part of the journey as the company rapidly develops. I'm very lucky to have a job which I enjoy going to each morning, that constantly stretches and challenges me and that I feel compelled to give my all to. - Endless opportunities for self development including half a day per week for personal learning and the ability to go on any training courses...

    Cons

    - There is always a challenge to face. Whether it's getting your head around something new, or lots to do in a short space of time it can be slightly daunting at first but you can always ask for help or someone else's opinion, and the feeling when you finish doing something you found challenging is great. - Working outside of central Oxford means that there are less people around, but as it's only a short bus or car...

Keep on doing what you're doing! Looking forward to more of the same, and being part of the team as it expands. ... and can we have a hammock in the new office please?

I have been working at BabelQuest full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The flexibility and freedom to work in the way that suits you best. The supportive processes and systems to aid creativity. Overall the support to enable you to help the clients. The focus is very much on the company looking after the people, the people look after the clients, and the clients look after the profit.

    Cons

It's not easy. The work can require a lot of continual learning, and the processes mean you are accountable for your results, and it's visible if you are missing them. It does mean you can get help quickly and you will get back on track, but it can be uncomfortable at times.
