    Look after your staff & your staff will not only look after your clients but also the bottom line of the company (i.e. Greater profits due to greater productivity)

    I have been working at Baker Tilly International full-time

    Pros

    - Managers are more considerate and humane
    - Partners seem friendly
    - Closely knitted (can be a good and bad thing)

    Cons

    - A lot of backlogs
    - Incompetent clients
    - Still use hardcopy working papers

    Advice to Management

    - Increase salary to commensurate against workload
    - Lack of staff benefits

    Pros

    Nothing good!
    Partners likes to micro-manage. good for me so my performance is recognised.
    Like the friendly colleagues and managers

    Cons

    Highly political
    Too many partners, many different standard
    Poor bonus cos money goes back to partners pocket.
    Partners likes to micro-manage. Not good for managers.. they r ill-treated.
    For new staff from Malaysia, partner will offer the similar salary but in SGD. not so similar pay for same position n experience.

    Advice to Management

    Your team of staff turn in revenue, recognise their hard work thru $$$. After all most are foreigners who want higher pay.

    Pros

    Recently joined the Baker Tilly network which will provide lots of opportunities to grow if you are in the right sector/discipline.
    Some interesting specialist teams have been established recently that most other firms don't have.

    Cons

    Poor offices and a poor culture around what a professional office should be.

    Advice to Management

    Merge with another firm soon because you need a lot more scale.

    Get experience and you can implement some of your ideas

    Cons

    Too many working hours, too many work for the employees, lack of career progress, the management only thinks in terms of cutting the costs and selling their services independent of the price, the important is to sell
