Poor top management

Pros

Decent company if they fix management and the dictatorship style with the lies and poor community and problem solving process.

Cons

Unfortunately all of the above reviews are spot on. Had I not worked there, I would think they are just angry and bitter. Micro management, passive aggression , lack of accountability by management and other teams, engineers and other important departments have too much power. Blame game specialist at every level. Unbelievable! The fake love is repulsive, micro management is passive but very present. Using the "no one leaves us because we take care of out staff" line holds no water. They do not leave because they have no self confidence or simply cannot work anywhere else with their attitudes or because their parents worked there. Poor to zero marketing because they believe the brand is strong. Too much to type.

Pros

There is nothing positive about working at Banham, it is literally like working in a prison but with less benefits.

Cons

Working at Banham is like working in a prison. The building was specially constructed for them to be super secure, but sits at the end of a dead end road (literal metaphor) next to some scrap dealers and a junkyard. That means there is no where to hide from the cameras throughout the building and it is cold and depressing. You can see the trains of merry people outside the window passing by in the fog and wish that you could join them and leave this place forever. I remember i used to go and sit in the toilets and cry. The company starts at 8.30am which is very bizzare and basically means that only people who live nearby in Earlsfield can get in on time especially as the trains are not very reliable. You are not given any time back from starting at 8.30am it is very old fashioned, it also means people are less productive as most people are just waiting around for 5.30pm so they can all run out of the door at the same time. The family who run Banham are apparently really mean and they sit on their own floor above the main office and have fired lots of people who work for them. When the cost of living crisis began the first thing people cut back on was playing £15k for a door and it hit the business hard. The main office has a "marketing room" at the end but next to it is a block of toilets and people always leave the doors open so basically the whole place stinks and is like having an open toilet in the office. The marketing manager at the time was this American lady who used to come into work with Covid and sneeze all overthe graphic design people on the desk in front of her and gave them all Covid too. The staff lunch room is a single cold space with old fruit and a football table - people sit in complete silence and lament their time working there, an aura of utter doom fills the air. Banham make great doors but as a place to work is absolutely soul destroying and a terrible place to work.
