    I have been working at Bank of England full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    One of the best companies to work for hands down, amazing café in head office and Moorgate PRA are a bit weird like the FSA but BOE is top class no bureaucracy whatsoever, can chat to the gov if you run into him good managers and very very talented people amazing meeting and coffee culture

    Cons

    slightly lower paid than the industry weird rules about staying in one job for 2 years, horrible horrible IT service internal budget cuts meaning crappy IT services hiring too many graduates to save money

    The people are great - you're not really expected to work more than 9-5. Great perks too! Get to meet many different firms also.

    Cons

    Low pay. Work gets repetitive at times.
