Pros

They make you feel very welcome and like family at first to get you. But this couldn't be further from the truth.

Cons

They will push you to work more and take on more tasks without compensating you. Management is not open to ideas or concerns unless it's gossip. Instead of listening to good long time employees they listen and act on gossip or their own personal vendettas.

Pros

Work-Life balance. Great Mission Statement. Bank is a Chickasaw Enterprise. Commercial & residential mortgage departments have a great opportunity to gain market share.

Cons

Mid-level management lacks the ability to develop the employees they manage. Department managers do not provide any leadership to the mid-level. Management tends to be inconsistent with decisions. Limited accountability for less than par performance. Employee feedback provided annually, no monthly or quarterly reviews of performance. Compensation is not competitive with marketplace. Communication regarding the future is blurred and unclear.

Pros

I was with the bank for a very short amount of time but made a few good friends I will carry through life. As far as "Pros" about the company? There are none.

Cons

I've worked for large banks but have never seen a higher turnover rate than here. There are no monthly 1-on-1 meetings for personal development. Managers do not set goals or hold employees accountable. They take mental note and let all your mistakes add up and then let you go with no prior notice. Management has no management experience. Lack of advancement and people skills. Very condescending to their employees. If you disagree or share your opinion to management they dismiss you and take mental note. Eventually you will be a target and let go.
