    I have been working at Barratt Developments full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Started\ with Barratts as a Contractor, and then became PAYE employee, my role is varied and I travel quite extensively in the UK, supporting the Construction New Starters in learning the IT Systems used by Construction. Barratts are at the forefront of Constructuion IT Systems,a nd are never afraid to be innovative Great Culture, Great People, Great Job, never any regrets about joining Barratts. I was off with illness for three months, and they were so supportive, I was grateful for this. Come and join Barratts, you will not regret it!!

    Pros

    The senior management have a clear vision to lead the house building sector and this is implemented throughout the business. The environment, customer care, CSR are all top notch. There are great rewards for hard work and team working is natural.

    Cons

    As a nationally operating company sometimes approaches can be fragmented and diluted. Cooperation is sometimes difficult.

    - Well Paid - Operationally driven company - As a business, they are doing well and will continue to do well dependent on the market

    - Blame/Finger Pointing Culture - Lagging behind on Technology - Very hierarchal and set in their ways - Calls for Support particularly during busy times are ignored - Very basic training - high level at times
